Micron GB

Micron talc- an overview

It is basically a mineral which is composed of the hydrated magnesium silicate.  It is certainly feasible to extract it in the natural form from the foliated to the fibrous masses.  The composition of this natural talc is non elastic still a bit flexible.  The colors in which the micron talc is available include the white, green and the grey.

As far as the purity of this talc is concerned then we can say that it carries the paramount standard of purity and pearly luster with a soapy touch.

The use of Micron talc-

The application of the Micron talc is highly common in the processing of rubber, plastics and paints.  It plays a major role in bringing high quality brightness.   It is true that even after the final processing the surface of these products carry some dullness in them.  With the application of quality Micron talc in the right proportion will surely eliminate this opacity.

This form of talc also acts as a very good wet-scrub resistant agent.  Being hydrophobic talc, it enhances the water resistive properties of the interior and exterior paints.

Micron GB-20

The whiteness carried by this kind of Micron talc is 95% and the color coordinates with respect to the IP and BP standards is 98%.  The bulk density of Micron GB-20 is 0.4 gm/cc.  The Blain value of the talc is 18,000 cm2/ gm.

Its application is quite common in the fields of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Recent studies clearly show that it can be used in the manufacturing of the coated papers as well.  The application of the Micron GB-20 is also very common in the plastic industry.

Micron GB-10

The surface whiteness carried by Micron GB-10 talc is 96% and the color coordinates according to the IP and BP standards is 99%.  The bulk density of Micron GB-10 is 0.35 gm/cc.  The Blain value of the talc is 24,000 cm2/ gm.

These days, you can easily find the application of Micron GB-10 talc in the manufacturing of the quality coated papers as well as in the plastic industry.

Micron GB-7

The whiteness carried by Micron GB-7 is 97% and the color coordinates with respect to the IP and BP standards is 99%. The bulk density of Micron GB-10 is 0.28 gm/cc.  The Blain value of the talc is 28,000 cm2/ gm.

The use of this Micron talc is solely dedicated to the manufacturing and processing of the plastics in the industries.
